NOTE: This application is for scholarship funds that can be used for a GEO study abroad program during any term starting in Summer 2026. The term is "Fall Quarter" because that is when students apply and when the deadline takes place (Dec 15)
Program Description:
By completing this application, you will be considered for three possible Planning Scholarships: 
  • Scholarship for First-Generation College Students
  • Scholarship for Students with Disabilities
  • Map Your Future Scholarship

Below are the specific eligibility requirements for each award. You may be eligible for more than one award, but we made it easier to apply for multiple scholarships by having one common application.    

Scholarship for First-Generation College Students - eligibility requirements
  • 2.50 cumulative GPA
  • Degree-seeking UO undergraduate students (Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors) or graduate students
  • Applicants must be first-generation college students, which is defined as: students whose parents or legal guardians did not complete a 4-year college bachelor’s degree     
  • Financial need (based on FAFSA/ORSAA). International students may submit the Financial Resource Form
Scholarship for Students with Disabilities - eligibility requirements
  • Degree-seeking UO undergraduate students (Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors) or graduate students
  • Applicants must have their physical and/or mental disability documented with the UO’s Accessible Education Center.
  • Financial need (based on FAFSA/ORSAA). International students may submit the Financial Resource Form
Map Your Future Scholarship - eligibility requirements
  • UO First-Year Students (this includes students with sophomore standing (more than 44 quarter or 29 semester credits) due to AP or IB credits are eligible
  • Transfer students with less than 45 transfer credits from a previous college/university are eligible too
  • Financial need (based on FAFSA/ORSAA). International students may submit the Financial Resource Form.
